I have four kiddos in many sports. These are amazing to keep me warm! I can always add another layer onto to for extra insulation! My husband stole them to hunting, and LOVES them! Our teen has stolen them during snowstorms. They are an all around AMAZING purchase! Looking into getting all four kiddos and my husband a pair. I am 5’2 and 190lbs got the large at first. Then, I exchanged them for the xl which fit my waist better, but are baggy in my legs. My husband is 5’6 and 155 he loves the way they fit (he doesn’t like anything loose.) our daughter is 5’4.5” and 150 they for her well. She has thicker legs than I do and they fit her like a true glove! I hope this helps with sizing!

Warm and Not Too Thick
These were perfect for a early winter trip to CO! They're thick enough to retain warmth and can be warn alone and yet thin enough to be a base layer under pants. I would highly recommend. They don't have any thick lining. So, you don't have to worry about sizing up. They are perfect as-is!

Cold gear 4.0
I purchased these 4.0 cold gear bottoms for deer hunting in Arkansas where we can get some pretty cold days. They work great under my hunting pants. Will definitely purchase more!

Comfortable and warm.
Very comfortable without waistband digging in. Warm enough for cold temps but not prolonged and bitter cold. At times it gets <-40 Celsius here and these are good for short periods outside, under your clothes.
These also don’t make me itchy
