Great wrist support for heavy weight
I got these project Rock wrist wraps as I started to develop wrist pain in my left hand, this was in part due to poor form and heavy weights during press movements (Ex: benching and shoulder pressing). I saw other reviews about how durable these straps and the common theme was improper use. These straps are NOT to be used like a weight belt, you should only be putting them on for final/max/heavy sets when working out. They will cut off the circulation in your hands if they are worn too long during workouts. In addition they will cause your wrist muscles to fatigue and not be able to build strength during regular sets. I would highly advise going on YouTube and watching a few videos on how to wrap them for thes best results. The only note I have is when you have the wrist wraps fully secured around your wrist take off the thumb band. I have found this to significantly reduce the wear and tear on the band as this part will not last with constant rubbing on bars/dumb bells. All in all I would highly recommend picking up a pair of these Project Rock wraps to add to your workout bag, they will definitely help your performance and overall gains without putting any unnecessary strain on your wrists.
