These socks have a notably profound depth of cushioning and a smooth, supportive fit around the heel and the bottom of the foot. As a distance runner I have found the cushioning notably superior to other brands' cushion styles, and I would recommend them for marathon runners who crave stable cushioning over long periods of time. I also use them for everyday walking and find that they protect and deeply cushion the bottoms of my feet even after all-day use.
I immediately fell in love with the ankle socks, so naturally when the weather became colder and my running shifted outdoors, these socks have quickly became my go-to for all of my athletic needs :)
I love these socks! They're not too high on the calf but enough so that you can comfortably wear them with shorts or pants. The left and right specific sock option makes them so much more consistently comfortable. The value was great!
Hey, Chad! The fabric of these socks was designed to evenly disperse moisture, allowing sweat to evaporate more quickly, so you'll run lighter, drier, and cooler. They weren't necessarily designed for warmth.
While the UA ArmourDry Run Cushion socks use a yarn fabric, they are still considered normal to thin in thickness.
