Best cold-weather workout shirt
I’m 5‘9“/160 and the medium fits perfectly: not quite compression, but a little snug and stretchy, so it moves with me, and doesn’t bind or restrict movement at all. Thickness is about like a mid-weight base layer. Keeps me warm when exercising down into the 30’s.

Great running shirt, not too tight
This shirt is great for running on the treadmill or outside in winter. Very comfortable, not as tight as compression but not sagging off your body while running. Warm enough to generate a sweat in the gym or keep you warm while running in snow. Fabric is soft against skin. Love the color. Goes with black and or navy pants or shorts.

Good fit top for winter running
I'm 5'6 132lb and a fit man running outside regularly. I have tried size M but it was loose for the purpose. The size S fits just right, snug while not overly tight. I ran outside at 35 degrees with this over a light T-shirt and I wasn't cold and not hot either. I like the higher collar in particular because it protects my throat on a cold day. I think I will rely on this going through my winter running. It should be a good inner layer for skiing too.

Great for cycling on cold days
I wear this when cycling and it's between 10 and 15 degree Celsius (50-59 F). I wear it under a heavier jersey. It has a brushed finished on the inside which is soft and warm and wicks away sweat. The mock neck sits higher and keeps my neck warm as well. It is fitted so it's not a compression top but it is tighter than a long sleeve t-shirt.
