Definitely Cold Weather...
These definitely are designed for very cool to cold weather (using a base-layer for cold), but are not heavy. Choosing my regular size, these are very roomy in the waste and buttocks, in fact, baggy in the buttocks, probably to accommodate the aforementioned base-layer.
Regardless, still a great choice considering other fitness options. Fitness pants are either fitted, very snug, snug and/or with tapered legs. These not only provided warmth against cold Calif mornings (40° range +/-3 to 4°), but also provide ample, full range of motion to avoid, limit or restrict movement during intense fitness sessions, especially for big folks.
The length is a true 32-inch inseam, vs. other similar 32-inch fitness pants that are closer to 34-inch inseams (I wear 34-inch inseam just not for fitness pants, to avoid dragging cuffs in the dirt). I just hope they don't shrink too much after washing, however, if that happens I can live with that!
Recommended (will buy more, anticipating the standard product end-of-life, near-future unavailability). Compared to other fitness manufacturers and fitness, we'll just stay with UA.

Will be great when it starts to get chilly and cold
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these for my 13 yr old son. He does not like joggers or anything tapered (he has really long legs). These are perfect and will keep him warm and he will still look "cool" or whatever I am supposed to say ;)

Finally Long Enough Sweatpants
Love the fact that UA makes sweatpants in “tall”. I have yet to find fleece sweatpants that fit my long legs and these do. I am 6’2” 195 lbs and a LGTall fits perfect.
