Mountain must have!
Used this puffy jacket and pants at 9000 feet on Montana Elk Hunt. 20 degrees with 60mph winds and still stayed warm.

Warmest Coat I Own
I have used the Alpine Ops Down Parka for 3 years now, and it is the warmest, most well-thought-out coat I own. The material is much more durable than any other I've seen on a light weight big down. It feels like it's reinforced in all the right places. I love its length for long glassing sessions in the cold and wind. I love that the hood is attached--I hate zip off hoods almost as much as zip off pants. I use it as my just in case later for mid season in Utah, and I lived in it on my 3rd season Colorado hunt this year where temps never got above 32 degrees. It runs big. I'm 5'8 and wear a medium in every other UA jacket. I have this one in small and it layers over a base and mid layer as well as my UA Ridge Reaper hooded jacket perfectly.

Now an essential for all my cold hunts
This parka is without a doubt my favorite cold weather piece. It is long and covers the cold areas where most coats meet your pants. Big, deep pockets. Packs into a small bag that is sewn into the jacket itself. For how lightweight this parka is, there is no reason to leave it home. The fabric on this is a lot more durable than what is on the Alpine Ops Pant and the Down hoodie. I haven't had a single rip in this parka after having used it on 6 buffalo hunts. Size did run big. All other UA jackets and coats I wear a Large, but the large in this parka almost went to my knees. 6', 175lbs. I returned and got a medium. Can't recommend enough!

this jacket is as warm and comfortable as it gets
Wore this jacket in Wyoming and Colorado for 2 years in temps as low as -20 and stayed very comfortable. Would buy again without a second thought. Fit is a little big, i am 6-4 and bought a xl, tried on a 2xl and was little big at Sportsmans Warehouse. Thank you Under Armour for a great jacket.
