Good try
Give UA props for trying to reinvent the hoodie and be innovative. This hybrid hoodie uses a selection puffer and regular material in different areas, which UA claims to offer superior movement while maximize warmth. Theoretically you would get a light, flexible hoodie that provides added warmth.
The hood, raglan sleeves, and the back are puffer, while the front midsection is cloth.
In actuality, I find the style, cut, and functionality of this piece of be just average.
It is a loose fit, coupled with the puffer material, it wears large and feels cumbersome despite the hybrid design. The choice and selection of colors is poor. Plus I feel it's not the warmest hoodie/shirt I've had despite the puffer panels.
UA usually offers a sharp cut and good looking no matter if it's a loose fit or fitted style. However this piece looks extremely mundane in all colors offered, while the cut/material combo makes it feels cumbersome, and not even that warm or flexible.
However I must give UA props for trying. The concept is good! With hybrid design, the look, feel, and fit of a piece is going to be different. This one is not quite right, but hope they get it right next time!
